Removing or Bypassing the ballast at the light fixture is REQUIRED FOR THESE ADAPTERS TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. CONSULT AN ELECTRICIAN IF YOU ARE UNSURE. DO NOT OPERATE THE LED BULB WITH A BALLAST IN THE FIXTURE. DOING SO WILL LIKELY DAMAGE THE BULB. Please turn power off before installing this product.
Easy to install and use, just simply twist into existing GX24Q socket and it immediately transforms your fixture to fit any standard E26 E27 medium size bulb. Please Remove or Bypass the electronic ballast from the light fixture before using this product. Because using the ballast will cause the LED bulb flickering and damage the electrical parts inside the bulb.
The base depth of this converter is 15mm/0.59 inches. It has the short version 4-pins and is suitable for all GX24q-1, GX24q-2 and GX24q-3 sockets. DO NOT install and use this product at any enclosed/unventilated fixtures.

Note:

- No Ballast is Required. Please be sure to remove or bypass the ballast from your existing CFL fixture before the installation of these converters. These converters will not work properly when using the ballast at the fixture. Most importantly, using the BALLAST will cause the LED bulbs to flicker or even destroy immediately.

How to remove/bypass the ballast at the fixture?
1. Normally, the Ballast has a black and white wire on the input side (120V). It also has two red and two blue output wires. To bypass this ballast, please cut all 6 wires.
2. Then, you can connect the two red wires to the black wire.
3. Next, connect the two blue wires to the white wire.
4. For multiple bulb fixtures, you can just repeat the above steps on the other ballasts.
