Description

The 1/16 Summit VXL packs its big brothers versatility into a smaller, fun size. Huge suspension travel, brushless power, and waterproof electronics ensure the 1/16 Summit doesnt get left behind on the trail. The 1/16 Summit is built Traxxas tough with extreme duty drive shafts, rugged Exo Cage, beefed up suspension, and Canyon AT tires. Traxxas Stability Management allows arrow-straight acceleration on slippery surfaces, without fishtailing, spinouts, or loss of control. Summit VXL rides on the Revo's rocker-actuated suspension and oil-filled, threaded GTR shocks. The semi-monocoque chassis supports this unique inboard suspension with long-travel rockers for maximum ground clearance and traction in rough terrain. Long-wheelbase rear suspension arms put an extra 10mm between the axles for superior stability. New Geode 2.2" chrome rims grip Canyon AT tires to deliver tenacious off-road traction. No "mini" model can match 1/16 Summit's speed and torque. The potent Velineon Brushless Power System and included Power Cell NiMH battery push Summit past 25mph. Install a second Power Cell battery to unleash the Velineon Brushless Power System's full fury, and Summit VXL jumps to over 40mph. The VXL-3m ESC and Velineon 380 motor are LiPo compatible with low-voltage detection for 2S and 3S packs and rated for 6-12 NiMH cells. Patented Training Mode lets new drivers hone their skills at 50% throttle, before unleashing the full fury of the Velineon system. The TQi 2.4GHz transmitter is fully adjustable and can be equipped with a Bluetooth module that turns your Android, iPad iPhone or iPod touch (sold separately) into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model. The 1/16 Summit VXL is fully assembled with TQi 2.4GHz radio system, brushless power system, painted body, pre-glued tires, and instructions.
